Dr T. Anjana Devi obtained her Doctorate from Centre for Cellular and Molecular biology (CCMB), Hyderabad. She has been working as a Scientist at the Applied biology department (formerly known as Chemical Biology) of CSIR-IICT since 2008. Presently she is holding the position of a Senior Scientist. Her research interests lie mainly in applying cell, molecular biology and proteomics-based approaches to understand the underlying mechanisms behind disease pathology of pancreatic and paediatric cancers. She has co-guided and guided many students for partial fulfilment of the post graduation degree for completion of the dissertation projects and presently four research scholars (with UGC-NET/CSIR-SRF/ DST Inspire JRF) are pursuing PhD under her guidance. She has executed the projects successfully as the Principal Investigator and as a team member in the in house ongoing projects, 11th and 12th five-year plan projects with publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented her work in many prestigious International and National conferences (more than 25), edited books and contributed to 3 book chapters. She is a member of several prestigious scientific societies.
