Dr. Siddhartha Moulik has pursued his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India, M.Tech and Ph.D. from CSIR-Indian Institute Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. His field of specialization deals with wastewater treatment, cavitation based advanced oxidation processes, sonochemistry as well as in membrane separation technology along with experiences in practical field applications. Presently Dr. Moulik is working with cavitation technology foremerging micro-pollutant degradation in water, application for dyeing process of yarn, depolymerisation, biomass treatment and extraction. Also he worked for solvent dehydration, industrial effluent treatment, drinking water purification. He has been associated with various industrial sponsored projects such as separation of chlorides from industrial effluent by nanofiltration process for TATA Steel, Haldia, recovery of acetonitrile solvent from aqueous solution in bulk drug industry for Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Hyderabad and development of composite membrane made of inorganic filler loaded in organic polymer for Arsenic removal from drinking water for Tata Chemicals Ltd., Haldia, production.
