Dr. Ashok Pandey was born and raised in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained B.Sc. (2007) in chemistry from K. N. Govt. P. G. College Gyanpur, Bhadohi affiliated with V. B. S. Purvanchal University Jaunpur and M.Sc. (2010) in chemistry from University of Allahabad. He received a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in 2016 from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) and moved to South Korea for post-doctorate study at Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon. He has awarded with CSIR-JRF & SRF, DST(SERB)-ITS & N-PDF awards for research in India.
In July 2019, he has joined CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) Hyderabad as a scientist and started his independent research career in the same organization. Dr. Pandey's research interest is focused on new transition metal catalyst designing and their application in synthesis of organic molecules in both racemic as well as enantioselective forms.
