Dr. Prakriti Ranjan Bangal
Prakriti Ranjan Bangal was born on 30the November 1969 in a small village of West Bengal, Bahadurpur, 130 KM down to the south of capital city (City of  Joy )Kolkata. After complition of schooling  from his village area, he pursued his B.Sc (Physics Hons) from Midnapore College. The he moved to Jadavpur University, Kolkata and completed his M.Sc in Physicas with Specilaziation in electronics.He pursued his doctoral degree at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, as oldest  scientific research institute of Asia and Obtained Ph.D degree on 1998 working under the guidance of Professor Sankar Chakravorti in the legendary department, Department of Spectroscopy, the birth place of sole Nobel Prize winning phenomena on 1930 in physics in India  known as "Raman Effect" in the field of molecular electronic spectroscopy. Thereafter ,he acquired vast post-doctoral experiences working with Prof. Henry Linschitz at Brandeis University, USA, Prof. Linda Peteanue, Carnegie Mellon University, USA, Prof. Naoto Tamai, Kawansei Gakuin University, Japan and Prof. Jaman, Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata. After having commendable research experiences(7 years after Ph.D) in different aspects of molecular spectroscopy, he joined CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology on 31 August 2005  as Scientist B, an entry level scientific cadre.His main research interest thhrust to Photochemistry and Photophysics, in femtosecond time domain, of functional materials for device applications.
